Is canyoning safe? Yes — when it's done properly.
Canyoning in Bali is an adventure activity, but it's carefully managed with safety systems, trained guides and constant monitoring of natural conditions.
Professional local guides trained in canyon safety and rescue, with you from the first briefing to the final pool.
Premium helmets, harnesses, wetsuits and rope systems — checked regularly and fitted before every trip.
Rainfall, water flow and river levels are monitored carefully before and during every trip.
What should I bring?
Preparing properly makes the day smoother and more comfortable. The good news? You don't need much — we provide all technical canyoning equipment.
- Swimwear — to wear under the wetsuit
- A change of clothes
- Socks
- Sunscreen (optional)
- Small personal essentials
- Valuables — don't bring them into the canyon
- Large bags
- Loose jewelry
Lockers are available at our basecamp for your personal belongings.
We provide all technical gear — helmet, harness, wetsuit, canyoning shoes and safety systems. There's no special equipment to buy or bring.
Always your choice
Jumps & comfort level
There's no pressure, no competition, and no expectation to do anything you're not comfortable with. If you'd rather not jump:
- There's always an alternative route
- You can rappel down instead
- Guides assist you step by step
Some guests love the adrenaline; others prefer a slower, more controlled approach. Both are completely fine — our guides adapt to the group so everyone feels supported throughout the canyon.

Weather & natural conditions
Canyoning happens in nature, so weather always matters. We operate in tropical Bali, where conditions can change — rain, water flow and river levels are all monitored carefully before every trip.
Light rain usually doesn't affect the trip. But if rain is heavy and water levels rise, we don't force it — we may adjust the route, delay the start, or reschedule.
If we decide to continue, it's because conditions are safe. If we adjust, there's always a clear reason behind it.
Before every trip our team checks recent rainfall, current water flow and overall canyon conditions. We know these canyons well.
If we say it's good to go, we're confident it's safe. If we say we need to wait, it's simply because nature comes first.
Pick-up & timing
Pick-up is included in all our canyoning trips. We start early to reach the canyon when conditions are cooler, safer and less crowded — your exact time depends on where you're staying.
Staying in Singaraja and nearby — Lovina, Munduk or Sambangan? You're closer to the canyon, so the morning starts a little more relaxed.
Staying in Ubud, Kuta, Canggu, Nusa Dua or Uluwatu? It's an early start — but it lets us arrive before traffic builds and before the weather shifts later in the day.
