Canyoning Safety
Whether it's your first time or you're chasing a bigger challenge, understanding how safety works lets you enjoy the canyon with confidence. Here's exactly how we keep every trip in North Bali safe.
Safety comes first. The experience follows.
A safe canyoning experience in Bali starts long before entering the water. Before every trip we check weather forecasts, rainfall levels and canyon conditions to make sure everything is suitable for the day.
We never rush into the canyon. If conditions aren't appropriate, we adjust the plan or reschedule the trip — no exceptions. Our priority is clear, and it never changes.
- The weather forecast for the day
- Recent rainfall levels
- Current canyon & water conditions
If conditions aren't right, we adjust the plan or reschedule. Safety is never traded for a booking.
Local, trained, with you throughout
Professional guides & supervision
Our safety standards are held up by experienced local guides who know the terrain, water flow and technical sections of every route.
- A clear safety briefing and technique demo before entering the canyon
- Guides assist and monitor you through every rappel, jump, climb-down and slide
- Controlled, step-by-step progression at every obstacle
Safety equipment & gear
All gear follows strict safety procedures. Before starting, every participant is fitted with a helmet, harness, wetsuit and canyoning shoes — each one checked by our guides before you enter the canyon.
Impact protection, fitted to you.
A secure connection to every rope.
Warmth and buoyancy in the water.
Grip on wet rock and descents.
Inspected regularly, replaced when needed. Any item that no longer meets our standards is retired — and if something doesn't feel secure or comfortable, it's adjusted immediately, before we move forward.
Weather & water conditions
Canyoning happens in natural environments where weather and water levels can change. Before every trip we confirm conditions suit the planned route.
- Weather forecasts for the day
- Recent rainfall
- Current water flow & river levels
If conditions aren't appropriate, we adjust the itinerary or reschedule the activity — never forcing a route.
Decisions are made on site, based on real-time assessment and the judgment of guides who know these canyons well.
Your part in safety
A safe canyon is a partnership. We manage the systems and the risk — and there are a few simple things we ask of every guest so the whole group stays safe.
- Follow your guides' instructions at all times
- Communicate openly — speak up if something feels uncertain
- Share any medical condition or physical limitation before the trip begins
- Move at your own comfort level — there's no pressure to rush
We encourage everyone to move at their own pace and say something the moment they feel unsure. Clear communication and teamwork are what make a canyoning experience both safe and genuinely enjoyable.

Controlled at every step
Every trip is insured
Every participant is automatically covered by Public Liability Insurance with PT Jasaraharja Putera — no extra cost, no extra step. The policy covers canyoning and trekking activities for guests aged 6–65, guided by a professional or certified guide, including shuttle service.
This is public liability coverage arranged by us for the activity itself — total combined limit IDR 300.000.000 for the policy period. We recommend guests also carry their own travel or health insurance for broader trip protection (flights, personal belongings, medical care outside the activity, etc.).
Public Liability Insurance, Master Policy No. 107010901042600039, PT Jasaraharja Putera. Current certificate valid 21 April 2026 – 21 April 2027.
A professional & responsible approach
Operate responsibly and professionally at every stage of the trip — with standards adapted to local canyon conditions, water flow and tropical environments.
Participate with awareness and follow the guidance you're given. That's all it takes to be a great part of the team.
